It is hard to discuss Rust's advantages without considering other factors. Sure, programs will have fewer bugs ("bug-free" is just an exaggeration), but costs go through the roof. Development times go through the roof. Try telling this to any CEO and see what they have to say about it.
But, it will improve over time and that's what matters. Python's first decade was in the shadow of other languages, while it matured and solved many of its issues. Maybe this is the way to go.
